Norah’s Story

On January 1, 2020, David and Andrea Elsmo rang in the new year with a new baby, Norah Madelyn Elsmo. She was healthy, adorable and even a bit famous given her early arrival on New Years Day. Little did they know that 18 months later, their world would come crashing down when Norah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Following her diagnosis, Norah spent 10 days in the hospital going through chemotherapy treatments and multiple blood transfusions. Despite rigorous treatments and her will to fight, she came down with an infection that ended her battle with Leukemia on July 17, 2021.

In Norah’s short time here with us on earth, she brought joy, laughter, and sense of humor to those who had the honor of meeting her. Norah was an incredible little girl and Andrea and Dave created this non-profit to make sure she lives on with us the rest of our lives. It’s their special way of being parents to her now.
